What you should know about traveling to Molokai: Molokai can best be described for what it is not. Molokai doesn't have traffic, Wal Mart, or any fast food restaurants other than Subway. Much of Molokai is rural and undeveloped. Don't expect nightlife. The Hotel Molokai has live local style entertainment in the evening though. Molokai has its own coffee plantation where you can get a fresh cup of coffee, a snack, or buy some coffee to take to your island condo or back home.
